thought posted by Mark H on Thursday 01 March 09:20AM
Connecting Scotland is a national prayer walk and call to 50 days of prayer organised by Pray for Scotland, commencing on April 8 in Shetland and finishing May 27 in Edinburgh.
The prayer walk arrives in the Inverness area on Saturday 14 April. The Inverness area co-ordinator, Ernie Gibson, has the following activities planned:
- prayer rally in Inverness city centre on Saturday 14 April (co-ordinated by Alison Ross)
- day of 24-hour prayer (co-ordinated by Anne MacArthur)
- prayer walks around the region during the 50 days (still looking for a co-ordinator)
- acts of kindness around the region during the 50 days (still looking for a co-ordinator)
- hospitality for the Pray For Scotland team as they pass through the region (still looking for a co-ordinator)
If you are interested in helping with any of these activities then please contact Ernie Gibson as soon as possible on 01463 772 755.
Please consider some focussed prayer activities and acts of kindness during the 50 day period. You can find out more, including a complete schedule at the Connecting Scotland website.
