Healing On The Streets 14 April 2007

story posted by Mark H on Tuesday 17 April 05:00PM

Many people sit down in the chairs every week and experience the love of our Father. I’m not aware of many who don’t experience a tangible sense of love, acceptance, and peace. Some are healed instantly and fully, right away. Some experience an instant and significant improvement, or are unable to fully test any healing there and then. Others we only find out about later. Some, we are left wondering (but full of hope).

We are utterly convinced of two things: our Father’s will is to heal, and Holy Spirit is teaching us all how to minister every kind of wholeness (and He is such a patient teacher!).

Here are just some of the stories that we had chance to note down during a busy Saturday (as usual, if you know more, or you spot any inaccuracies or over-exuberant reporting, then please let me know):

Matthew is a very joyful, peaceful guy who nonetheless sat down and said “I’d like more peace”. Holy Spirit led us into a “now” conversation about natural fathers and the Father heart of God.

E asked for prayer for anxiety. As she sat in the chair, she became very peaceful. Through a word of knowledge, Holy Spirit revealed that Father knew about a trauma in her past and she wept tears of release as she experienced Father’s love.

Anne was suffering from arthritis, a bunion, and a headache. She had one leg slightly shorter than another and God lengthened it as she watched. She also felt significant relief for her other symptoms.

C was suffering from depression, the product of a very difficult home situation, arthritis and loneliness. She was really touched by the love of our Father and the love of the team.

The week before last, Anita asked for prayer for her grown up son who had bad asthma. She sat in a chair and we prayed for her son “by proxy”. Anita returned this week and told us that, since the time we prayed, her son has not had to use his inhaler. She was then prayed for herself, for painful rheumatism in her hand. Suddenly she stretched out her hand and exclaimed “The pain has gone!”. She then testified to this over the microphone!

A lady with pain in her shoulder and her legs received instant healing in her shoulder (confirmed Monday evening).

Several of the team (including me) have long-term ailments and have been receiving ministry every week too. Many are finding a gradual week-on-week improvement where previously there had been none. Holy Spirit is teaching us all to have greater faith, to experience and share Father’s heart, to follow His lead, and how to work together.

(next week we could do with some photos of guys receiving and guys ministering!)

God said "it is not good for the man to be alone", or in this context: there's nothing worse than a monologue! Why not leave a comment and join the discussion?
