Growing legs!
story posted by Anthea D on Wednesday 19 March 02:00PM

Last Saturday a grandmother, accompanied by her two grandchildren, came for prayer for sciatica all down one side of her leg and into her ankle. It was constantly painful. Watched by her grandchildren, we assessed her posture and found one leg was about an inch shorter than the other. So we started praying that her back would straighten and her legs be the same length – and to her amazement that’s what happened. She got up pain-free, saying “That feels lovely – it really does!”, wiggling her leg around. Thank you, Jesus!

God said "it is not good for the man to be alone", or in this context: there's nothing worse than a monologue! Why not leave a comment and join the discussion?

I found a website the other day that is written by atheists that was entitled God doesn’t listen to paraplegics, in other words people who have non functioning limbs or missing limbs will never be healed (or really there is no God so prayers are worthless). I have a friend missing a limb. How hard would I need to pray for her limb to grow back? I have a small dog that has a tumor on his lip which has been growing consistently for the past 9 months. I have been praying and laying hands on him almost everyday for 3 months and still the tumor persists. I don’t agree with the atheists point of view but what am I doing wrong?

Hello Ginger,
Are you local? (Inverness, Scotland)
Why not come and find us on the streets to discuss further and pray together? You’ll find us every Saturday 10:30am – 1pm on the corner of High Street and Inglis Street (just down from Marks and Spencer).
We also do training once or twice a year.
