over all the glory there will be a canopy (Isaiah 4)
Where two or three are gathered in my Name ...

A few Saturdays ago, just three of us were able to gather at the “HOTS spot” to talk with and to pray for the people of Inverness. Jesus and the angels were there with us!
A couple from Buckie, came for prayer. The lady had osteoarthritis in her hip with resulting sciatica. The power of Jesus touched her and when she stood up, the pain had gone, to her amazement. We also prayed for her husband’s strained knee. They were both blessed!
A lady from the Netherlands asked us what we were doing. She was very interested to know the gospel message and we explained the way of salvation to her. We prayed for her toothache, which was “better” after prayer. She went away touched and with a lot to think about.
A friend who himself has been “completely healed” (his words) of arthritis and breathing difficulties, brought his blind friend to see us for the second time. We prayed for him and talked to him about the possibility of a home visit from our friends at the Highland Healing Fellowship. He was very encouraged again.
We noticed that a young man giving out promotional materials for a local paper, looked as though he had a sore foot, so asked him if he would like prayer. He agreed, and when prayed for, his foot was completely better. He told his friend and said he should have prayer for a lump by his tooth. After consulting with his girlfriend on the phone – who told him “go on!”- his friend came for prayer. He was very touched and said he would let us know how it was.
A God-seeking Muslim from Glasgow was so eager for prayer. We prayed the Father’s blessing on him, saying we felt there was a gap in his background to do with fatherhood. He replied that his father had died when he was young. He was very touched and took away the Father’s Love Letter.
A few weeks ago, we prayed for a teenager from a local church who told us that she had been diagnosed with a brain tumour and was having treatment. She had said “I don’t want to die yet”. She had said that she was going for post-scan appointment that week. She came back especially to tell us that, at the appointment, she had been given the “all-clear”!! Thank you, Jesus!
The power of Jesus is present to heal in Inverness.
We sense that God’s presence is increasing on the streets. We are so grateful to Kingdom United, whose worship each weekend on Church Street, are having such an effect on the city centre. We also sense that the Father is crying over the city and saying “Will you come and help me on the streets?” Please pray for more workers and that you yourself will know what He is calling you to do, and when, in and around Inverness.

God said "it is not good for the man to be alone", or in this context: there's nothing worse than a monologue! Why not leave a comment and join the discussion?
